Parkerville Children and Youth Care has been named a finalist for two categories in the 2014 WA Constable Care Child Safety Awards.
School Based Support Services (SBSS), a programme that strives to support families, increase the resilience of children and strengthen links between schools and their local communities, has been recognised in the Child Safety Education & Care Award category, while Lisa McAneny, one of our dedicated Child and Family Advocates, is a finalist in the Child Safety Employee Award category.
The importance of our corporate supporters is also in the spotlight with Datacom a finalist in the Child Safety Corporate Partnership Award, thanks to their support of Parkerville on a number of levels for the past 6 years.
Throughout this month, nine separate and independent judging panels, each with a specific area of expertise, will meet to evaluate the finalists from each category and select a winner.
The category winners will be announced at the 2014 Constable Care Child Safety Awards Gala Presentation Ceremony at Crown Perth on Saturday, 2 August.
