Parkerville Children and Youth Care Determines to Participate in the National Redress Scheme

On 28 November 2018 the Western Australian Government passed enabling legislation to participate in the National Redress Scheme for people who have experienced institutional child sexual abuse. Parkerville Children and Youth Care applauds the State Government for its decision.

On Wednesday 5 December 2018, at its first meeting following the adoption of this legislation, the Board of Parkerville Children and Youth Care determined to become a Participating Institution in the National Redress Scheme.

Parkerville Children and Youth Care will shortly commence the administrative steps required to become a Participating Institution and will continue to work closely with State and Federal Government in respect of implementation.
