Parkerville Children and Youth Care offers regular training for staff, carers and volunteers. We also offer the opportunity for staff to attend external training. Our agency has a strong culture of supporting development of staff.
As well as regular internal training staff from the agency benefit from external opportunities to enhance their development as well as the delivery of services to the community. In recent times these have included:
- 2015 & 2016 Six managers are attending the Integral Leadership Programme
- 2015 Attendance and presentations at the 15th International Victimology Conference
- 2014 Attendance at the Australasian Implementation Science Conference
- 2013 Ten staff completed the Trauma informed Care training facilitated by the Australian Childhood Foundation
