Our Out of Home Care programme provides a holistic, multi-disciplinary, therapeutic care service for vulnerable children. Our aim, as a team of committed staff, is to bring healing and growth to the lives of vulnerable children. Parkerville Children and Youth Care Inc are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team in the role of Team Leader Family Group Homes within our Geraldton team. The Team leader Family Group Homes is responsible for the development, management and coordination of therapeutic care plans for a small group of assigned children.  The position works with other professional staff and direct carers in the delivery and review of plans that seek to bring healing and growth to children’s lives.

Do you have direct care experience with working alongside children? Are you looking for a new challenge and opportunity to care for vulnerable children? Parkerville Children and Youth Care (Inc) have an exciting opportunity for Respite Carer’s to join our dynamic team of professionals within our Perth Metro cottages.

As a Respite Carer in our Family Group Homes, you will be employed as direct care staff to Group Care settings whilst primary carers are on scheduled breaks, special leave, annual and sick leave. Respite Carers are accountable to their OHC Residential Programme Case Manager for the care of children in line with Parkerville Children and Youth Care’s processes, case plan and individual care plans. As an OHC Residential Programme member, Respite Carers provide a safe, secure nurturing, care environment and give unconditional positive regard to the children in their care. The Respite Carer has access to an interactive multi-disciplinary team system which incorporates the child, Case Managers, clinical staff as well as complementary services and resources relevant to the child and care setting.

Parkerville Children and Youth Care are seeking Psychologists to join our specialist team working with children, young people and families who have experienced abuse and trauma.  Our Therapeutic Family Services (TFS) team provides specialist assessment, treatment, and consultation for thousands of children every year across Western Australia. We have exciting opportunities across a range of our locations such as Armadale, Midland and Mirrabooka, including at our Australian first George Jones Child Advocacy Centre and our newly opened Stan and Jean Perron Child Advocacy Centre.
