Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist who is looking for a new challenge? Parkerville Children and Youth Care (Inc) have an exciting new opportunity to be part of a dynamic team of professionals within our Geraldton cottages.
Within the Geraldton team, you will be working in Early Intervention and Prevention with children aged 0-18 years, playing a key role within the Foster Care and Family Group Homes, as well as the wider community. Our Out of Home Care team specialises in early childhood development and trauma, where you will have the opportunity to facilitate parenting programs and workshops to assist in empowering parents and caregivers in guiding their child’s age appropriate development.
We currently have a vacancy for a suitably qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to work across our Murchison service who will work independently, whilst also being a part of a dynamic and multidisciplinary team committed to doing challenging but rewarding work. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families and have access to numerous ongoing professional development opportunities.
The successful applicant will provide occupational therapy group intervention services and consultation to community playgroups to support age appropriate child development. The successful applicant in this role will also coordinate and run professional development workshops for the community and support the children within our Out of Home Care programme.
