Come and work for Parkerville Children and Youth Care (Inc), at our Brookman and Westfield Park Child and Parent Centres working in Early Intervention and Prevention for children aged 0-8 years. Our Child and Parent Centre’s team specialises in early childhood development focusing on the 0-4 years bracket as well as offering parenting programs and workshops to assist in empowering parents and caregivers in guiding their child’s age appropriate development.
We currently have a vacancy for a suitably qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to work across both our Child and Parent Centre’s located in Armadale and Langford who will work independently whilst being a part of a dynamic and multidisciplinary team committed to doing challenging but rewarding work. The successful applicants will have the opportunity to make a real difference for children and their families and have access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
Successful applicants will provide occupational therapy group intervention services, consultation to community playgroups to support age appropriate child development, coordinate and run professional development workshops for the community and support the running and operation of the Child and Parent Centre’s.
