Our Therapeutic Family Services team has created a new role to accommodate increased demand for our Protective Behaviours program. We are seeking a skilled practitioner with relevant background qualifications in social work, psychology or other allied health area to join our team and provide the psycho-education program across a range of sites.
WA Police fund our services to provide the Protective Behaviours program on an individual and group basis to children, young people and their parents who have experienced abuse or whom may be at risk. The successful applicant/s will provide this program and some extension sessions following our well-developed model across a range of Therapeutic Family Services office locations. In addition, they will also facilitate a range of workshops and extended training to professionals and community groups on Protective Behaviours, Responding to Sexualised Behaviours and Managing Disclosures.
Successful applicants will work independently whilst being a part of a dynamic and multidisciplinary team committed to doing challenging but rewarding work.
