Come and work for Parkerville Children and Youth Care (Inc), at our Westfield Park Child and Parent Centre based in Armadale. Located on school grounds the centre works in partnership with the school community to provide early intervention and development service to children aged 0-8 years. Recognising the important role parents play in the early development and health of children the centre also provides parenting programs and workshops to assist in empowering parents and caregivers.
We currently have a vacancy for a suitably qualified and experienced Service Coordinator to lead the Westfield Park Centre. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to make a real difference for children and their families in the greater Armadale area by leading a dynamic and multidisciplinary team committed to doing challenging but rewarding work.
Successful applicants will coordinate and oversee the running and operation of the Child and Parent Centre, work collaboratively with individuals and other managers from the Department of Education, Department of Health, Non-Government Organisations, Local Primary Schools and Early Learning Centres as well as with other Child and Parent Centre’s.
The successful applicant will also assist in the reviewing of the needs of the greater Armadale community and in partnership with the Local Area Committee members, provide strategic planning and guidance of services provided at and through the Child and Parent Centre. The Service Coordinator position will report directly to the Manger of Community Services and provide reporting to the Department of Education.
