The main focus of the Seen and Heard Programme is to encourage all young people aged 12-20 who live, work or attend school in the Shire of Mundaring to be active and participate in community life. The Seen and Heard Team strive to create youth friendly, fun events including Battle of the Bands competitions, Dance Parties, Pool Parties and other school holiday events such as Girls Pamper Day and Movie Nights. The Seen and Heard CREW is a group of 60 young volunteers who are actively involved in all stages of planning, organising, delivering and evaluating these events, thereby demonstrating their positive contribution and strengths to the wider youth community.

The Seen and Heard Programme aims to build on the positive attributes young people bring to the the community and acknowledge their importance within the community. Through the programme, CREW members develop their leadership, teamwork and communication skills which will benefit them in seeking future employment.

While building their skill-set, the CREW have the opportunity to have fun, socialise and meet new people all in a comfortable and safe environment. CREW members attend exclusive CREW reward evenings which include movie nights, rock climbing, bowling and various other adventures. Seen and Heard is always interested in hearing from local young people who would like to join the CREW.
