School-Based Support Services

Children are more resilient when they have a great support network. We work with schools to help strengthen the vital links between a child, their family, and the local community.

In partnership with schools, we are able to provide a range of targeted and easily accessible services for children, families and teaching staff within the school campus.

Children are more resilient when they have a great support network. We work with schools to help strengthen the vital links between a child, their family, and the local community.

Our School-Based Support Services deliver tailored programs, on the school campus, so our services are easy for children, families and teaching staff to access. Programs are developed in consultation with teaching staff and carefully targeted to meet the needs of each school community. We offer a range of activities in the school setting, including:

Information and assistance - so families feel supported in the school community and parents are connected with relevant community and support services.

Individual counselling - giving parents and children a convenient, safe and family-friendly environment where they can discuss issues and work towards a therapeutic goal.

Group work programs – we facilitate collaborative sessions to enhance and develop children’s social, emotional and relationship skills. These programs are offered to whole classes or in small groups.
