FSN connects families to the right support – at the right time – through a collaborative, coordinated service model designed to build strong, safe families.

Raising a family is one of life’s greatest joys – but it can also come with challenges. Whether you’re facing parenting pressures, housing stress, mental health concerns, family violence, or financial hardship, you don’t have to face it alone. 

The FSN offers a streamlined way for families in the Perth–Midland area to access help.  We bring together a network of services that work collaboratively to reduce barriers and provide support that is timely, respectful, and tailored to your family’s needs.

FSN helps families get the support they need more easily. At the heart of FSN is a strong network of local community partners who work together to provide coordinated, integrated care. This joint approach removes many of the common barriers families face when seeking help. It also reduces the need to repeat your story and ensures you’re connected to the most appropriate services in a timely, respectful way. By putting families at the centre, FSN offers a more supportive, clear, and empowering experience. 

Instead of trying to find services on your own or telling your story over and over, we help connect you to the right support quickly. Our friendly Child and Family Care Navigators work with you every step of the way. We listen, understand your needs, and make sure the support you receive is respectful, inclusive, and safe for everyone. FSN puts your family first and makes it easier to get help when you need it most.

• Alcohol and other drug concerns
• Financial hardship
• Housing instability and homelessness
• Relationship conflict
• Referrals to specialist services

• Collaborating for better care - When multiple services are involved, we work with you to ensure smooth communication and a seamless experience.
• Walk beside you – Our team provides consistent support, empowering you to build on your strengths and work toward your goals.
• Culturally Safe, Inclusive Support – In partnership with Koya Aboriginal Corporation and local community partners, we ensure services are accessible, inclusive, and responsive for all families.
• Support for Complex Needs – For families facing more complex challenges referred by the Department of Communities, we offer intensive, in-home support to help keep children safe at home.

We can help families to keep their children safe by: 

• Working with families to address challenges early that may affect children’s safety and wellbeing
• Reduce barriers to accessing support
• Coordinate services when multiple providers are involved with your family
• Understand that every family is unique
• Prioritise wellbeing and safety of children
• Strengthen your capacity to build a better future and keep your children safely at home
