Early Intervention, Prevention & Youth Services
Parkerville Children and Youth Care's Early Intervention, Prevention and Youth Services provide young people with the skills necessary to gain independence and security in their lives. The young people who engage with these services work with us to claim their identity and purpose, and ultimately create a better future for themselves and us all. Through our Early Intervention and Prevention services, we strive to cultivate the future leaders and innovators who will shape our society.
Our Early Intervention, Prevention & Youth Services
Child and Parent Centres
Our Child and Parent Centres specialise in the developmental needs of children designed to increase the capacity of families and help them provide appropriate experiences and a happy, healthy home environment.
EET Program
Our Education, Employment and Training program works with students to help them achieve their potential by developing their literacy, numeracy, social and life skills in a safe and secure environment.
Ruby's
Ruby's helps keep families together and young people out of the homelessness sector.
Young Women's Program
Young Women's Program offers support and education to mothers and single women to develop their parenting skills, and to further develop independent living skills
Moving Out Moving On
Moving Out Moving On program is a safety net designed to help young people who are experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness or residing in crisis or temporary accommodation.
Reconnect
Reconnect is a free, voluntary and confidential program to help prevent young people, aged 12 to 18 years from becoming homeless and encourage them to stay connected with family and the community.
Support and Counselling Service
Our Support and Community Service program partners with housing service providers to ensure children aged from four to 14 years get the special attention they deserve.
Midland Medicare Mental Health Kids Hub
Medicare Mental Health Kids Hubs provide a welcoming place where children (aged 0–12 years) and their families, carers and kin can access free supports.
Alcohol and Other Drugs
The Alcohol and Other Drugs Program comprehensive service that supports young people aged 12 to 25 years to reduce the harmful impacts of drug and alcohol use.
Family Support Network
Family Support Network (FSN) brings together local community services to walk alongside families, helping them navigate life’s challenges and build on their strengths before issues escalate.
Intensive Family Support Service (IFSS)
IFSS provides extra support for families going through tough times. We work with families who are facing complex challenges to help keep children safe, happy, and cared for at home. Delivered by Parkerville Children and Youth Care, in partnership with Koya Aboriginal Corporation, the service offers practical, in-home support that helps families build stability, strengthen relationships, and have a safer future.
