Alcohol and Other Drugs
A comprehensive service that supports young people aged 12 to 25 years to reduce the harmful impacts of drug and alcohol use.
Harm minimisation and reduction are at the forefront of the Alcohol and Other Drugs program, which offers a supportive space for young people to address their alcohol and drug use.
Along with harm minimisation and harm reduction, the Alcohol and Other Drugs program is centred on the principles of actively reinforcing protective measures, promoting awareness and transparency regarding their behaviour, and collaborating with them to identify and enact life changes that support their overall well-being. Our Drug and Alcohol Workers break down barriers and stigmas surrounding drug and alcohol use, addressing these issues through one-on-one counselling, group therapy, and harm reduction-focused educational programs.
This Alcohol and Other Drugs program goes beyond immediate crises. Thorough assessments are conducted to identify the root causes of the young person's drug and alcohol use, helping them understand the underlying issues they may be trying to cope with. This program allows young people to make informed decisions and take control of their futures. It allows for recovery and healing in those who need it most.
